Ultra-sensitivity to Emotions

Have you come across someone who is very moody and ultra-sensitive to emotions like anxiety, worry, fear, anger, frustration, envy, jealousy, pessimism, guilt, depressed mood, and loneliness? 😢

To such people, sometimes, certain simple negative situations appear too difficult to tackle. During such situations, your internal feelings or external responses tend to be more negative than they should be.

Such people can be very intelligent and passionate, but when it comes to their internal emotions and mental health, they are, often, not working on themselves.

This trait is complex, yet measurable, and, in psychology, it is known as Neuroticism. High levels of Neuroticism can result in greater 🧠 Mental Health issues, and, thus, it is desirable to keep your Neuroticism low 🌡

Here's a purely spiritual approach to it: With daily self-work, you can desensitize your triggers. Build / grow a thick skin by realizing that what happens around you is not always the result of your actions. It does not affect your well-being. Thus, it does not need to affect your Mood 😌

I do not think that age has got something to do with increased or decreased levels of Neuroticism. It is, basically, about what you THINK about yourself, and how you FEEL about yourself and your life, no matter where you are in life.
