This was the very first time I prepared cake independently. No Oven or Microwave necessary:

1. Take 1.5x amount of Wheat Flour / Maida.
2. Add 1 tablespoon of Baking Powder and 1/2 (half) tablespoon of Baking Soda.
For Chocolate Cake, add 1 tablespoon of Cocoa Powder.
3. Strain this three times to ensure fineness and get rid of lumps. Keep it aside.
4. Mix Amul Butter (60 grams) with 3/4thx Milkmaid (Condensed Milk). Take it in another pan
5. Add flavored food essence.
6. Mix it thoroughly with hands to ensure fineness of this liquid.
7. Add the strained Maida to this liquid.
8. Continue to mix it with your hands, until it becomes smooth like a bhajiya's paste. Add water, if necessary, to soften it.
9. Make this mixture consistent.
10. Pour this mix into a mould that has been layered with ghee + maida or butter paper (so that the cake does not stick).
11. Keep this mould on low flame (may be inside another vessel / container) covered for 30-45 mins. NO WATER in the main container!
